Hermès has been a long-rumored tenant for downtown's flashy luxury mixed-use development CityCenterDC, and now the Washington Business Journal spots a permit for tenant layout at 944 Palmer Alley NW for Hermès on the first and second floors. A two-story Hermès store in Washington would be quite the capstone for CityCenterDC. The only Hermès store currently in the D.C. metro area is at Fairfax Square at Tysons Corner.
