For the August issue of beauty bible Allure, the magazine named the best places across the country for manicures and pedicures. We were curious what salon they would pick for Washington, and it turns out that Mimosa Salon in Dupont Circle made the cut. But it seems to get a mixed review. The Allure writer vented that it took 30 minutes to get a seat even with an appointment, and states, "Paulette did calm us with a cocoa butter hand massage before painting our nails, which looked beautiful, although we were relieved to get out of there." Is Mimosa Salon in Dupont your go-to manicure place? Share your favorites in the comments.
