D.C. is anxiously awaiting the opening of our very first SoulCycle, the indoor cycling studio that's become a national phenomenon. But a press release makes clear that the studio at 2301 M Street NW is only the beginning for SoulCycle in the Washington area. The release states: "SoulCycle D.C. is the first Washington area studio and will be followed by SoulCycle Bethesda in the fall." The release also mentions that the SoulCycle in the West End will be first of "several Washington D.C. area studios."
Whoa! The rapid expansion makes sense, considering SoulCycle is expected to expand from its current thirty locations to upwards of sixty locations over the next five years.
As for the D.C. studio in the West End, we've got exciting new details about what riders can expect: the 55-bike studio will be 3,000 square feet, and will include amenities like showers and a locker area, and a SOUL retail boutique where you can purchase SoulCycle's original clothing collection.
