Props to you, Sarah Jessica Parker. You really did your quick trip to Washington this week right. You dined like the locals, hitting up Bloomingdale's slackery-cool Big Bear Cafe of all places for dinner on Monday night. You did the tourist thing, with a little posing at Union Station. And you brought three pairs of rad SJP heels to the White House. Can't say we've done that last part, but it's definitely a dream.
Parker, who is a member of the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, was in town to promote the White House's Turnaround Arts initiative. Her trip included an interview with Michelle Obama and a fun performance alongside kids from the King School in Portland, Oregon for the first-ever White House Talent Show, hosted by the First Lady. And happily, SJP Instagrammed her whole D.C. visit.
We hope Sarah Jessica Parker and Michelle Obama are besties.
