WASHINGTON, D.C. AND BALTIMORE—Want someone to not only build your Ikea furniture for you, but come up with a makeover for your home? Ikea's Home Tour Squad will be in the Washington and Baltimore area on June 16 through 30, and you have until May 2 April 29 to apply for a chance to have your space redone by Ikea. All you have to do is submit a video about your home and how Ikea can help you out. Even if your home isn't chosen, the Ikea Home Tour Squad will be around to chat during the Safeway National Capital BBQ Battle on June 21 and June 22. And one of the squad members is local: Elizabeth Spencer is a visual merchandiser from the Ikea Woodbridge store. [RackedWire]
