Nothing about British designer Erdem Moralioglu's stunningly intricate, ultra-feminine dresses suggests that this is a guy who appreciates chili dogs. But according to the Washingtonian, Moralioglu made it a point to stop by Washington tourist-must Ben's Chili Bowl for a lemonade and a chili dog. OK, he said he only ate half the chili dog, and there's no mention of what time he visited, because locals know heading there after the bars close is the best way to experience Ben's.
Moralioglu was in town to present his designs for a runway show at the Great Ladies Luncheon, held at the Ritz-Carlton and co-hosted by Saks Fifth Avenue. And according to the Post, guests at the luncheon saw new pieces that weren't shown before at Erdem's London Fashion Week show or pre-fall presentations.
