D.C.'s JRINK Juicery didn't do much promotion when they quietly opened their new juice bar at 1323 Connecticut Avenue last week, but sure enough, they promptly sold out their first day. It's all due to JRINK's active social media community, co-founder Shizu Okusa told Racked DC — a following that includes Nationals star Bryce Harper. Located in the front retail space of Epic Yoga, JRINK's light-filled shop invites customers to stay awhile, with a comfy couch, plenty of seating space, and free Wi-fi for customers. The fridges are packed with 16-ounce glass bottles of JRINK's cold-pressed juices, containing 100% all-natural fresh fruits and veggies in flavors like Fuel Me Up (pear, kale, romaine, cucumber, and lemon) and Pick Me Up (beet, carrot, and apple). Customers can also mix and match flavors to make their own six-pack. Prices for flavors vary, but each bottle retails for less than $10.
Want to check out JRINK Juicery? The juice bar is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, with the anticipation of adding weekend hours soon.
