This is cool news for a Monday afternoon. EastBanc, Inc. just sent out a press release that Alice + Olivia will move into 3303 M Street NW, a 2,400-square-foot retail space formerly occupied by Qdoba. The contemporary women's brand is known for their playful party dresses, handbags, and mini-skirts. And for whimsical touches like "Stace Face," the iconographic image of designer Stacey Bendet's signature cateye sunglasses and red lip, which features prominently in Alice + Olivia's designs.
The brand currently has 13 freestanding boutiques in New York, California, Connecticut, Hong Kong, and now soon Washington, D.C. will be added to the list. The stretch of Georgetown where the new Alice + Olivia store will be is really blossoming, with shops like Calypso St. Barth, Intermix, and CB2 on M Street, Steven Alan and Bonobos in Cady's Alley, and Sandro coming this summer.
