Is Under Armour opening a store in the D.C. neighborhood where the hugely successful sporting brand first got its start? That's what the Washington Business Journal is reporting. Several unnamed sources tell WBJ that the Baltimore-based Under Armour will open a Brand House outpost at the corner of M Street and Wisconsin Avenue. Serendipity 3 is currently in this location, and it's unclear what is happening to the restaurant, according to WBJ.

Under Armour just opened a new store in Tysons Corner in November, and plans to open their first NYC Under Armour Brand House location this year. And Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank might be nearby to check in on a Georgetown store: he reportedly bought an $8 million mansion this summer, his second home in Georgetown. If Under Armour comes to Georgetown, fitness fiends will be spoiled for choice in a neighborhood already served by Nike, Reebok, City Sports, Lululemon, Athleta, Patagonia, The North Face, and Georgetown Running Company.
