Designer Derek Lam talked to Racked SF about what dressing Michelle Obama means to his business. The First Lady recently wore a black, cream and tan Derek Lam long-sleeve dress during her tour of China, and Lam said: "She has a very contemporary way of appreciating fashion but saying, hey, it's to get me to a place where I need to be, It's not about a red carpet moment."
