It's another freezing cold day in March, but luckily, today we're looking to Georgetown's Wink for a jolt of spring. This charming boutique is the perfect place to search for bright colors and fun patterns that will definitely shake us out of this winter slump. We asked Wink owner Paige Speyer to share three of her favorite seasonal trends, and she picked out some essential in-store pieces to add to your spring wardrobe. Sophisticated crop tops, anyone? Click through for the trends and styling tricks of the trade from Speyer.

Sophisticated crop tops: "The trend is cropped," Speyer said as she picked out three short tops with totally different vibes, from a boho top via Parisian brand Antik Batik that could be worn with highrise bellbottoms, to a structured Ella Moss shirt that would be great with skinny, Jackie O.-inspired black pants. The trick to making a crop top look more 2014 than 1994? Just don't show too much skin, Speyer said.

Graphic floral: Florals aren't so literal this spring. "The look is more modern, and not so feminine," Speyer said. She picked out two wildly-patterned dresses from Clover Canyon, one of Wink's best-selling designers. Speyer also chose a black and white printed dress from Pam & Gela, the new brand from the designers who began Juicy Couture. "Try it with black flats or a sandal, and it's cute for day," Speyer said.

Slouchy trousers: Soon it's going to be sweltering out, and we'll ban all our skinny jeans to the back of the closet. For those who don't want to wear shorts all the time, definitely try out a loose-fitting pant. The Clover Canyon trousers are super comfy — one is silk and the other a lined neoprene. The patterns on these pants are bound to get some attention too. "Just keep it simple on top," Speyer said.
