It's only natural that a new workwear brand for professional women would pick D.C. as the first stop on its series of city-specific, in-person shopping events. This is definitely a city that dresses up for work, unlike say, dress yoga pants-wearing San Franciscans. So today through Friday, Of Mercer will introduce Washington women to the brand's stylish, office dress code-appropriate looks. Think blazers and flattering dresses in a range of silhouettes, fabricated in luxury Italian wool and specialty Japanese fabrics all offered for below $250.
The D.C. launch begins tonight with a party at Urban Chic in Georgetown, hosted by Refinery29 editor Holly Thomas. That's happening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., with gift bags for the first 100 attendees, as well as light bites, cocktails and wine. Sound fun? Make sure you RSVP here.
Then on Thursday, Of Mercer will set up shop at Capitol Hill Hotel from 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for lunch break and after-work browsing, and will move to the AKA White House Hotel on Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. for another day of shopping. RSVP here for those events.
