Looks like the Cady's Alley Holiday Bazaar concept of e-tailers taking their merchandise offline is going to be a permanent thing. Elevation DC reports that Barry Greenberg, Eastbanc vice president for leasing, envisioned the Holiday Pop-up as a trial to see if this idea of a retail incubator was sustainable. After the success of the holiday pop-up shop, Cady's Alley will keep it going, leasing the 8,200-sf space to between eight and ten retailers for 90 to 120 days.
The goal is to open back up again in April — Tuckernuck is still in the space now and hosting a fiesta today — with a mix of national brands and local brands. Stay tuned to see who is popping up at the permanent pop-up next.
