Love Pure Barre DC and Solidcore but wish they were closer to your 'hood? You might be in luck. Both boutique gyms are expanding to second locations in Washington.

Adams Morgan's Solidcore, which focuses on using a MegaFormer machine and is classified by blogger DC Fit Crasher as one of the toughest workouts in Washington, is opening a second location in Shaw. PoPville writes that the Shaw outpost at 1821 7th Street, NW should be open in late February.

And Pure Barre DC has proven to be so popular in Dupont Circle, owner Michelle G. Davidson is opening her second Pure Barre location in Capitol Hill. According to Elevation DC, the new Barracks Row studio will be located on the second floor at 407 8th Street SE and is slated to open in early March. There's been a spate of Pure Barre studios opening lately, with new locations popping up in Bethesda and coming soon to Arlington and Alexandria.
