The lease is up at beachy-meets-elegant furniture and clothing shop Coco Blanca in National Harbor. And that means a huge closing sale is in order. Coco Blanca's Facebook page reveals that everything in the store including furniture and home accessories will be 40% to 60% off this weekend, with store hours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m on Sunday.
Coco Blanca's newish Alexandria shop at 210 Union Street will remain open. In fact, their National Harbor closing announcement reads "No worries. Now, Coco will have more opportunity to double her efforts in Alexandria!"
What will replace Coco Blanca at National Harbor? The shop's closing may mean one less non-chain boutique. Back in November when mega-outlet Tanger Outlets at National Harbor opened, the developer at National Harbor touted the retail mix between mass market stores and small independent shops in an article in the Washington Business Journal.
