Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
White button-down shirts are an office staple, but even though they look simple, finding the right size can be a huge pain. Enter InStyle Essentials, a new line of button-front shirts from InStyle. In order to prevent gaping or pulling buttons and boxy waists, the shirts are sized by bra size instead of dress size, with sizes running from from 32B – 40H. And there are three style to choose from: the classic button-front, the weekend tunic, and the bow blouse.
The $59.99 shirts are sold online, but this week shoppers can try out the TrioFit technology when the InStyle Essentials Perfect Fit Tour stops in Washington. This Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., find the InStyle Essentials team outside of the Reagan Building at Woodrow Wilson Plaza on the corner of 13th Street NW & Pennsylvania Avenue.
Stop by and get advice on sizing from fit experts and styling from Dana Avidan Cohn, InStyle magazine's senior market editor. A street-style photographer will be on hand to take photos, because, why not.
