Union Station's Getting a New MAC Store

Retail at Union Station is on the upswing this month. First, a shiny new H&M opens in the former Barnes & Noble space near the Metro station, and now PoPville brings word that signage is now up for a MAC retail location. The cosmetics shop will be located next door to Accessorize and near H&M, replacing the now closed boutique Fire & Ice.

This will be the second MAC retail location in Washington, D.C. The only other location in the city itself is the MAC counter at Macy's at Metro Center, though a free-standing MAC shop is right outside the District at 5402 Wisconsin Place in Chevy Chase.
