Mosaic District is really making use of their gigantic outdoor video screen this week. As part of Mosaic's annual Fashion Week, Fairfax's newest shopping destination will screen New York Fashion Week runway shows on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Local retailers will sell special snacks to eat alfresco, like truffled popcorn at Ah Love Oil & Vinegar and charcuterie from Red Apron. That definitely beats watching the shows on your desk monitor.
The big screen is also currently running promos for the Angelika Film Center & Cafe's exclusive premiere of the Carine Roitfeld documentary "Mademoiselle C" at 7 p.m. on Friday. It's an inside look at the launch of Roitfeld's new magazine CR Fashion Book, and guests who attend the premiere can purchase a deal that includes bubbly and a cupcake with their ticket. The premiere will also have a Carine-themed pop-up experience, with a red lip bar from Bellacara. A social media contest is also happening right now for the best fall fashion-themed window displays at Mosaic District. We included a few snaps after the jump, check them all out here and vote for your favorite.
