If the Isabel Marant x H&M collection was a gateway drug to the real, unadulterated thing, your best bet might be to head to Georgetown. For more than three years, local M Street boutique Hu's Wear has stocked Isabel Marant, and the designer is one of the store's best sellers. "Her designs appeals to all ages," Hu's Wear's Marlene Hu Aldaba told Racked DC.
Not only does Hu's Wear sell the Isabel Marant Étoile diffusion line, they also sell Marant's main line, with runway collection pieces that are hard to find anywhere else in Washington. In store now, find a too-cool navy leather jacket, a stunning $1120 Zoya wool-blend coat, and more.
Across the street, Hu's Shoes carries Isabel Marant flat boots, wedge boots, and the blogger-fav sneaker wedges in a few colors and patterns.
The sneaker wedges are also found in Georgetown at Barney's New York at 3040 M St NW, as well as the Dicker boots. Barneys Georgetown also sells two racks worth of Marant's clothing, carrying coats, fisherman sweaters, and patterned blouses and pants. A t-shirt here is a bit steeper than the $40 Isabel Marant pour H&M version — expect to pay $175 at Barneys.
