Ladies looking for shoes, accessories, or handbags at this weekend's Gilt City Warehouse Sale might be disappointed: the focus was definitely on clothes this year. We stopped by at around 7 p.m. last night at Long View Gallery and took a spin through the racks, which are divided by size, not designer.

Extra smalls are at the front of the room, and sizes get larger as you move to the back of the gallery. There's no order beyond size here, with a pair of $49 white Vince jeans hanging next to a $69 Miu Miu tank dress or a Carolina Herrera embellished sequin gown priced at over $500. But bonus: yesterday everything was an additional 30% off the marked-down price.

So if you're going, it would be good to make an immediate beeline to your size, then post up and comb the racks. Many of the items are one-offs, with no other sizes available. Denim deals included $49 Earnest Sewn jeans, $39 D&G jeans, and $29 J Brands. Cocktail dresses included a grey silk watercolor Kate Spade number for $69, and a peach Maje dress for $189, originally priced at $375.

On the men's side, the racks were stocked with suits and blazers from brands like Paul Smith, Tommy Hilfiger, and Jack Spade, with sweaters from Edun for $99, AG jeans for $69, and a fair amount of swimsuits. And lucky dudes, there were actually multiple tables of shoes to peruse, with brands like Vans and $49 Eastland loafers.

The gallery was outfitted with two communal dressing rooms, one for guys and one for gals. We didn't see any housewares at the sale, but children's clothes were stocked out front near the five registers in the check-out area. If you hit the sale last night (or today), was it worth the trip? Let us know in the comments what designer pieces you took home.
